ZOMG! These are awesome. I will get both versions of Mixmaster!

Well, that didn't take long. I think I'll wait for the G1 repaints for all the non-combining deluxe/voyager Constructicons. Legendstator will have to do for the movie paint jobs.

 

Nice repaint. Looks a bit better than the original so i might pick that one.
Its just me or Arcee's face is really long?  

 

Well, guess I'm saving my money for the G1 version of Mixmaster, then.  

 

That paintjob makes him look like a Classics toy than a movie toy.

I wonder when we'll see the other Constructicons' toys.

 

If we get G1 versions of all the Constructions I'll be pissed! I vowed not to get repaints for the ROTF line. Of course, Hasbro figures out how to make repaints a must! Damn my childhood desires.

 

Huh, the green/purple coulourscheme brings the detials out aloooot more.

Plus he got RED EYES! Maybe I'll get both and do a head swaaaap...

 

I'm not too thrilled about the G1 repaint. I'll have to see a few more images I'm sure, but I'd rather get the movie variant at this point.

 

Lovin the G1 Mixmaster. That shit is bought on sight.

 

I always like seeing these G1 repaints, even if my fiction-accuracy purism usually prevents me from actually buying them. I'm not wholly sure that the mix of styles quite works, and it certainly wouldn't have worked on film, but it's cool to see it out there just for the heck of it. I'll be interested to see if they ever bother doing Devastator up like this, just to see how it looks...

 

When I read the title, I was expecting the G1 Mixmaster repaint to look horrible, but tbh, it's not that bad looking. I'm almost surprised we didn't hear about this one at Botcon. It'll be interesting to see when and where he's released. I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be a store exclusive of some kind. The green does seem a bit too bright/light, but the flash could be contributing to that. I do like the darker purple though. I have a feeling that, if I ever get this mold, it'll be this version. Something about the tan of the first version doesn't look right. If we get a similar G1 repaint of the Demolishor/Scavenger mold, I also have a feeling I'll be getting that one too. Possibly even the same for Rampage, if I don't get the first one before they anounce a repaint, and maybe even Long Haul, though if he gets a G1 repaint, I think it'll be in one of the last waves of the line. The first one is already a shade of green, and really just needs some purple and black details to it. Though to fit in with the other G1-inspired repaints, the shade of green would need to be changed too.

Arcee doesn't look too bad, but I don't think I'll be getting her or the other two bike sisters. Though I may change my opinion once I see Chromia in-person. If I get any one of them, I'll also get the other two. Might as well, as their combined mode could end up better than their individual modes.

Swerve is looking good, though I don't think I'll get him. The head sculpt just doesn't look good on the mold, imo. His alt-mode does look nice in red, but I prefer the silver version, tbh.

 

Wasn't too fond of Mixmaster..but this G1 paintjob is pretty sweet. I'll either buy both or only this G1 version! SWEET.

 

Meh, I already don't like the mold, but it just looks silly with G1 colors. Ah well, it was to be expected I guess, so it's good for those that want him.
