The Transformers Live Action Movie Blog has posted that they have received (from a credible source) the names of the VAs for Arcee and Sideswipe.

Not a surprise that Arcee is played by Susan Blu. But Jason Griffith (aka Sonic the Hedgehog) will be making his Transformers debut as Sideswipe.

Sorry if this was mentioned in the other threads from people who have already seen the movie. I am not reading those due to spoilers, so here ya go!

They also made a good point: why are the people who have seen the movie not confirming the names of the other VAs? Is Tom Kenny planning Wheelie, Skids, AND Mudflap? Is Anthony Anderson actually playing Jolt? Because I don't beleive it.

 

The dude that does Sonic's voice in recent games, right? Not Urkel.

 

Awww, I thought it was Miley voiced Acree  , and Sonic The Hedgehog voiced a Transformers whats next Grimlock voiced by Mario.

 

From what early reviews state, Arcee has one line in the entire movie.

She could have been voiced by the late Bea Arthur, I don't think it would have changed much...

 

Seriously?!   Though I kind of expected as much.

 

Not surprised. ROTF seems like the type of movie where they had to cut things early to make it fit the time. Just look at the combined Arcee...

I don't mind it, it just surprises me a little. It's a hell of a jump from 'Yu-Gi-Oh.' Or 'Chaotic'.

Something tells me his recent non-Sonic video game work might have helped with this.

 

I'd say a variation of his Sonic voice would fit Sideswipe. i think that fits.

I wanted Dimaggo to voice him in the movie as well.

Now when I fiddle with my Sideswipe, I'll hear his voice from one of the worst recent video game toons ever.

I guesss hooray for Su Blu for just saying a line or two.

 

Dimaggio is voicing Sideways, not Sideswipe. I'm looking foward to hearing what Griffith has in store for Sideswipe, as I actually like his Sonic voice.

Susan Blu is a freaking amazing VA so i am excited about that!

 

Probably because not many people actually stay for the credits. Most everybody splits as soon as movie ends.

 

it's ridiculous that they include arcee in this movie then scale her appearance to being really just a background charcter with one line and very little screen time....quite disappointing but as for susan voicing her that does not surprise me but I kinda thought they should have gone with a new person.

sweet. im cool with sue blue. she will do good for arcee. the only thimg im iffy about is sonic the hedgehog voicing sideswipe... just hope they can pull it off without it sounding goofy..
