This was fun, but dropping a trailer like three days before the movie comes out is definitely... a decision.

All I know is, I got my damn tickets!

 

That CGI is fantastic. I don't know what all the "LoOks LiKE A ps2 gAMe" people are smoking.

 

Most movies do it now.

 

It really feels like yesterday where we got our first trailer back in December. Now fast forward to today where we are about to have another Transformers film on the big screen. The cgi here looks absolutely fantastic, thank god I got my tickets booked for IMAX

I still think it's odd but whatever, marketing teams know more than I do.

 

I think it's mostly just a way to get a "hey don't forget" message back into the spotlight. They rarely show anything new, I don't know if this one did since I stopped watching them a couple of weeks ago.

 

I love how David Sobolov gets to play 3 characters in this movie, its like the older tf shows that had one guy playing like 16 characters lol

 

So does anyone besides me think that the one that some people were thinking was Apelinq is actually just a battle ready form for Primal's beast mode? The one that is the still image of the video before pressing play.

 

David Sobolov confirmed he would be voicing Apelinq

 

Even with that being said, several films have been said to be having something that people are looking forward to that was cut at the last second. I mean Jared Leto swears there was Joker footage for the first Suicide Squad movie that was cut but in a quantity large enough to be it's own film. Now either I have kept my head in the sand or I'm not the only one who has yet to see ALL this supposed footage that could be a movie itself. We see this character in the trailers, and we have confirmation Sobolov confirming he's voicing the character, but until we all go see for ourselves, I'm still moderately skeptical that if Apelinq is in it, it's going to be incredibly brief, or he was cut altogether. Also wouldn't be the first time an actor/actress has recorded lines/filmed scenes that were ultimately cut without their knowledge only to find out when the movie came out.

 

We’ve seen Primal and Apelinq next to each other in trailers.

 

I don't recall that... must have been a blink and you'll miss it moment...

 

Mr Sobolov never said Apelinq was a big role, just that he plays the damn ape

 

That's literally how movie promotion goes. There's launch trailers, usually at least one additional trailer, and then the final launch trailer when the movie is about to drop.

 

I like how we went from "they aren't doing enough marketing" to "they are doing too much marketing."

 

yes and no I read spoilers if it’s true next sequel will be better with surprise I have watch movies with almost no promotions movies made it big for success in top five movies to see this movie here

Only way I found out about it was YouTube trailer never saw trailer of it in theaters on tv still don’t rap music choice for soundtrack
