I doubt all of them will be that. Also while the beast character designs are mostly faithful they are still doing different things.

For me as long as the designs are cool idc, but I do prefer them to be or have the traits of there traditional designs. For example Bomber Megatron or Figueroa’s Earth Prime.

It woulda helped if they somehow added some black paint on the brown piece that's on the front of the car, but yeah, maybe a redeco of this mold would help make it look better. Man i missed random redecoes in a movie line.

I get what you mean. Some movie toys bring some interesting unconventional designs which help them standout. Heck those off-screen characters really added alot to the world. Characters such as Landmine, Longarm, Breakaway, Mindwipe, Skystalker, even Tomahawk, Skyhammer & most of the scout/basic class designs were pretty cool to see.

I do kinda wish we could get more original characters and designs done in Legacy or get those non movie characters in SS.

Personally I’m fine either way for traditional/more faithful designs or unique new ones as long as the design is cool. Like I like movie Ironhide and Bonecrusher over G1 but I do still prefer some characters G1 designs over there Bayverse ones which are unique for sure.

I’d be down for that, I’d love a Breacher, Seaspray, Breakaway, and Mindwipe. Concept art stuff would be dope also.

I can't say much about the toy itself since I don't own any Cheetors, but if this toy is close to the finalized movie designs, that's not bad.

I do to, I wish SS would do stuff like that I know it kinda has with the NEST styled stuff but something else also. Like it’s random (got the idea mostly due to fan art) but if we got a repaint of TLK Hot Rod in maybe G1 colors or as is with some minor paint changes but the head is more G1 or IDW1 looking I would so be in.

Just the TLK design despite being so far not G1, is ironically a good base for a G1-ish designed Hot Rod.

Yeah looking at the two it doesn’t seem like there’s a single shared part. Just very clearly the same like skeleton. Weird tbh.

I will take one of each thank you Mr. Hasbro!

It seems to me Kingdom was expertly timed, to get the designers ready for ROTB.

I don't think the gut gun wasn't included because of budget limitation. I think it was omitted because there was no room to incorporate it in the beast mode.

Tigertron came with it and despite the voyager price did not incorporate the weapon into beast mode either.

And my theory is that gut gun for Tigatron was a late addition given that Tigatron was initially meant to be Cheetor recolor but got upgraded later on to Voyager. Cheetor was one of the first figures designed while Tigatron one of the last for Kingdom. And initially he most likely didn't meant to come with a gut gun because it's not preseant on the character artwork. Because of that the gun doesn't integrate as neatly as most of the Kingdom Beast do with their weapons.

Either way, the omission of a character’s iconic and signature weapon was pretty glaring.

Most Kingdom Beasts don’t really have weapon integration.

It's the same size as Kingdom Cheetor

The only Kingdom Beasts with actual weapon integration that come to mind are Dinobot, Rhinox and Waspinator. Most (I may have forgotten 1 or 2, so the word most is meant to prevent those that want to have an "um actually" moment) of the others just have the weapons plugging into an open port somewhere on the body.

It could but so far it hasn't maybe due to licensing. But those repaint stuff will probably continue to be BB stuff.
