I believe you. Shit went down at Roswell that the government doesn't want to discuss. And this isn't just restricted to incidents at Roswell. There's been thousands of documented reports on Alien and extraterrestrial phenomenon all over the world.

The truth is out there people. You just have to know where to find it...

One thing that doesn't come with the Roswell BS is the alien probes that can poke out of people's ass, or assist in the insertion of their head into the orifice.

Now, I do believe that with ALL of those beautiful stars out there that it is statistically probable there is life out there. Now, intelligent life (i.e. mammalian or evolved reptilian-like) is another equation and less likely to be there.

As for ALL of those UFOs, I think a large percentage of them (now) are highly-classified Earth based vehicles. Prior to Roswell, the sightings are a different story. As for little grayish-green men visiting the Earth? Yeah, they do, they are called Canadians and the poor guys need to get more sun! :D

Roswell was literally nothing, if you do want to believe in anything. Believe in incidents at, or around, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base before and after Roswell. Before Roswell, supposedly, there was few if any sightings. Now, there are thousands of UFOs each year around the base. The reason why (according to conspiracy theorists) is the UFO remains were taken there and have supposedly been reversed engineered.

Boy, reading all of this puts me in the mood to watch MiB 1 and 2.

So, basically you ask us to offer our own thoughts on this matter, then immediately tell us that if our opinion doesn't mirror yours it is invalid? Smooth.

Anyway, everyone knows it was a weather balloon.

You know what, that is the most truth that I have read in this forum.

How about I throw a wrench into the mix. What if Roswell was the staging ground for the faked lunar landing. Area 51 was used to fake the Lunar Landings beginning with the first landing in 1969. It is believed that the sand type is similar to that on the lunar surface. If you speed up the astronauts moon walking by ½ x speed they appear to be running round in the same way we do on earth.

No you should worry about being part tool though.

The sand on the moon is way finer than sand found in the middle of the nevada desert.

As for that link, I'm not going to get into everything but I found the bits about the Apollo 1 fire and von Braun are particularly disgusting and insulting to a group of men who died trying to expand our knowledge of space exploration and the man that practically single-handedly built our space program with his rocket designs and genius.

Hey I don't agree with everything listed on that site either, but some of points are interesting none the less. I merely brought this up as an alternative to the mysteries of Area 51 and Roswell. Thats all. No insult intended.

Man, some of the better arguments against the moon landings aren't even on there. For instance, let's take the simple and ever present problem of dust. It's everywhere, and the lunar dust is supposed to be especially fine. When the LEM module approaches it's landing site, it fires a big thruster on the bottom to slow it's decent. This thruster would kick up a huge amount of dust, which would float around, and eventually settle over the course of the next several hours. Here's the kicker: Where would it settle? Well, everywhere, of course. Including on the LEM module itself. I tried to find the image we've seen of the LEM module foot that's really clear and close up, but the ones I did find should suffice. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3

Note further that in all three of these pictures, there is a distinct lack of the blast crater from the aforementioned thruster, but that's not the point I'm dealing with today. There is no dust on any of those LEM feet pictured. Now, if the LEM actually did land on the moon, it would have HAD to have fired it's braking thruster, which WOULD have kicked up dust, which WOULD have eventually settled, which WOULD have coated everything in moon dust. If there is no moon dust, that logic chain fails all the way up to landing on the moon. I'm not saying it wasn't done at some time, but for these pictures, they are not of something on the moon.

Im tired of hearing the reason we have microwaves and all new technology is due to aliens crashing on earth from all the movies. Makes us seem like dumb asses.

So we can land robots on Mars, but not men on the moon?

Wait, lemme guess ... that didn't happen either.

All that guff about Earth probes flying through space and gathering data well beyond our solar system?

    LIES.

Come to think about it...know what'd be neat? I bet the technology that went into those Voyager 2 and Pioneer spacecraft is pretty inexpensive/low-tech these days. All we'd have to do is slap a better signal processor/transmitter package on there and we could probably get the same neat data in a slightly updated form.

The moon landing is possibly a hoax, but it's one of those things that people will always hold on to as truth. It gave us heroes, it gave us hope, it gave us national pride.

If NASA and the US Government came out and said, "Yeah, sorry, we were just playin' with ya'll" ... then the credibility of the Government regarding *EVERYTHING* would be in question, sending the country in to a sense of anarchy.

Same thing if they admit that aliens do exist ... a sense of fear and panic would sweep over certain types of people creating another sense of anarchy and panic.

Keep us in our happy little bubble, tell us everything is all right, and life goes on as normal.

You know, it's probably a good thing we Earthicans never sent a probe into space to collect data. Could you imagine if we did? It'd probably fall into a black hole, get discovered by a sentient race of mechanical beings, who modify it, and send it back on its way, during which time it develops an intelligence on it's own, goes crazy, then returns to Earth in search of Sinead O'Connor.
