Rooster Teeth, the Austin-based studio behind Netflix’s Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy, has officially launched a new line of Transformers apparel dubbed, “Transformers Cruisin.”

The line will consist of three pieces of clothing:

    Transformers Dream Hoodie - $59.99

"...printed with an all-over pattern faithfully recreating officially licensed Hasbro vintage bedding from the 1980s.”

Optimus Prime Cover Crewneck - $54.95

“The long sleeve garment features artwork of the Autobots' leader by artist Livio Ramondelli, which was previously used as a variant cover for IDW Publishing's Transformers: Optimus Prime#13 in 2017.”

Autobot Satin Bomber Jacket - $79.95

"In the same year Rooster Teeth has partnered with Hasbro and Netflix to produce Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy, out now on Netflix, the gaming and fandom brand is launching a merchandise collection inspired by the world’s favorite smashy robots!"

The crewneck is just a reuse of bad IDW Art, The hoodie looks stupid with the weird cloud pattern, and while the jacket looks nice, not $75 right.

Also, since we did they do clothing? I thought their main export was shitty non-anime (nonime)...

Given Rooster Teeth's recent track record I wouldn't be surprised if these were just some cheaply made things from a sweatshop or something.

I remember that hoodie pattern on curtains back in the '80s. I hated it then, too.

That hoodie was my childhood bedsheets and quilt pretty much my entire childhood until they literally fell to pieces.

I have the hardest time knowing what to feel about it as a sweatshirt.

-ZacWilliam, it's like if someone sewed your baby blanket into a T-shirt...
