Has anyone here tried buying the Koo model armor sets on AliExpress? Without the figure, they’re $32 plus shipping. They seem scaled to fit the Sentinel figures and use the metallic finish of the Armor Plus line. I’m tempted to get the one for Sage since my figure fell off my desk and caused the tip of his helmet to get chipped. But then I know I’d want to get Ryo’s & Rowen’s (and eventually, Cye & Kento’s) so that all five would match.
^^^ So glad to hear you got the shin guards! I'm still waiting on my replacement foot piece. Also, would you mind taking a picture of the figure's back so I can see the piece the six blade weapons attach to? Thanks

Who did you order the parts from? My order was cancelled and refunded, so maybe I could try the same seller you got them from?
I need to try that. Unfortunately, it was delivered to me over a month ago and I'm just getting to assembling it now. No shin guards
I got it from the seller that you always link, the Model Fans store. But I had to download the app so I could message them. I get the impression that if you don't keep bothering these sellers, they'll just ignore you. It was a very frustrating overall experience, but I'm glad he's complete! I was also missing the hip sheathes from Sekmhet & the spiked tip to Anubis's chain weapon from separate orders & I didn't get a peep from either seller there.
Thanks for posting the pictures of his back. So my pieces are molded incorrectly and can't fully seal up with the weapons in place in the backpack. Oh well, it'll never be seen.
^^ Heck yeah! I would be in for a set of stylized Ronins! I'm still not sure if I should "upgrade" my Armor Plus to Sentinel, but if those stylized versions come to be I'm all in.
At some point you can stylize a character until it doesn’t feel like them. Those designs are sweet, but it doesn’t really feel like Ryo. It feels like an unrelated line doing a homage. Like when they’d do a movie 1-4 Bayformer, like Starscream, in G1 colors And that one pic has Ryo with a demon slayer Rengoku cape, sculpted into the back of the shoulder armor and hip skirt - which is random
So my Black Blaze finally arrived. It took them so long to ship him out I was sure I was getting scammed. But he made it & everyone was included. I'm honestly quite impressed with this one. All of the armor is metal so he's pretty heavy, but it's nicely done for a complete third party creation. Ronin Fan, you don't need to take out the screws to put the leg cuffs on, his feet are ball jointed & you can carefully pop them off the ball. The screwdriver is just to tighten the joints.
Thank you. I re-attached the screws into the leg joints and now Blaze stands much better. As a little experiment, I managed to remove the black plastic clips inside the sword sheath holders, and now my Bandai brand sheathes fit almost perfectly. When I have the time to do so, I'll get a new picture up.
Not much visual difference in the legs with the screws re-attached, but damn does this look SOOOO much better with sword sheathes added. At first I just used the regular black sheathes, but then I went digging around and found my special color edition which I think looks even better still with the gold highlights. Pretty sweet, right?
I've been waiting so long to make this photo, do I really need to say anything? Despite whatever troubles or flaws we had along the way, and regardless if Sentinel someday makes their own versions of these characters, I still need to say this. Thank you Lutoys for making this dream a reality.
Man, I'm gutted that I missed out on Cale. I tried to order him on 3 separate occasions, none of which panned out. And now I'm one Warlord short of a full collection. They look great together!
