I think I mentioned it before, but if Sentinel was smart (and keeping up with the Ronin Warrior fanbase), they would announce a Warlord as their second entry in their lineup, before jumping onto the remaining Ronins.
I hope it makes it to get to Talpa and if they do make a Talpa I'd hope he would be significantly larger.
I also want that Lord dude that Ryo beat and got the Inferno swords from, the same guy who had Black Blaze.
I want all of the Samurai Troopers and Warlords, I hope it's not a one and done deal. I'd love to get the White and Black Inferno Armors.
Preorder up on AmiAmi, still open, and cheaper than Amazon AmiAmi [Character & Hobby Shop] Amiami: 15,150Y Amazon: 15,872Y Release date . . . April 2020? Damn thats freakin' 6 months away I would still prefer something by bandai in the SH Figuarts line, but removable armor is unlikely from them
I would take cheaper figures that are up to the quality of SHF figures without the removable armor in a heartbeat. I'll probably be leaving my figures suited and booted, so the removable armor isn't really a selling point for me. But these Sentinel Ryu's do look pretty great, so I might just jump in on this expensive line. I do wonder how quickly Sentinel will get this team out there. The 5 Warriors share the same base body, so with that engineering out of the way, all they need to do now is work on head and armor sculpts. I just have no idea how long that sorta thing takes. To hell with it -- I've preordered Ryu. This line is very expensive, but if we get 2 to 3 figs a year, the spacing out will make the pain of MSRP not hurt as much.
Well I would have went with BBTS if I had just waited a few days, but I guess I'll keep my amiami preorder. I think I'll get it sooner that way (not that I care too much about this), and I know amiami will cut a fool off if you cancel too much, and since the price is going to be basically the same when it is all said and done it doesn't really matter one way or the other. I'm just more used to using BBTS.
I guess the hip joint curse is still in effect. My second Sage has both hips broken now, and the funny part is that he wasn't even wearing any armor! Good thing the resin replacements are still available, so I'll hopefully be getting this one fixed soon...
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA!!!!!!!!!!! Just saw the newest pics of the Sentinel Toys Ryo!!!!! I have not been getting updates in this thread like I should be. HE LOOKS FUGGIN DOPE!!!!!!!
Does anyone out there have a spare 2nd edition red Ryo figure and can spare a sub-armor chest plate? The paint on mine has heavily chipped off and looks like serious battle damage and I want to replace it. As I've learned the hard way, I never should have sold my spare Ryo parts long ago since now I don't have a replacement. If there isn't too noticeable of a color difference, I'm willing to accept a 1st edition Ryo chest plate as well. Any help would be much appreciated!
Looks great! Can't wait! Curious, what color flaws are you referring to? I just see a missing green spot on the front crotch armor, which I'm ok with. I haven't looked in-depth yet so I may be missing something.
Afraid not. I've already sent Sage and Kento in for replacements, and am expecting them back anytime. It was just a shock to me that the joints would fail even without wearing the metal armor.
Yeah, it’s no surprise at this point. I had them without their armors AND on waist-grabbing stands (so barely even any pressure/weight on the legs) and some of the hips still broke. Basically, it’s pretty much safe to assume that, aside from Ryo 2009 (have not heard/read of breakages) and possibly Black Inferno (différent hip mold), all other hips will break at some point out of nowhere.
I just moved my figures from one detolf to another and I had multiple legs fall off as soon as I touched the figures. I think only my Ryu and Rowen have hips that aren't cracked at this point.
