No, I won't. the day I get a TF that transforms and stands up on it's own is the day I die from sheer awesomeness.

No, jumpstarters and duocons DO NOT count.

    Ha Ha ok! :thumb

No doubt man. That would literally be the coolest TF ever. I am afraid, though, that the transformation will be way closer to a playskool TF than a masterpiece. Although it does look very cool...I hope I am dead wrong and MMM does indeed die of sheer awesomeness! Then I can have his legends ;)

And that leader Bulkhead looks really good. I am really amazed at how show-accurate these toys look. Like the stylized aspect of the show or not, some of these toys look like they stepped off a CGI model. Who else wants to see Leader Bulkhead against TFTM leader brawl?

leader class toys have been ok. but supreme class (and above) toys in the "modern" era have been extremely disappointing imo. nothing supreme or ultimate about them. not a single citybot or basebot or anything with an alt mode that would be on a grand scale compared to other toys. exception being unicron and primus... and while they're good toys, in the end they both amount to transforming balls. G1 omega supreme, metroplex, trypticon, fortress maximus, scroponok, etc. have absolutely nothing to worry about as far as competition these days.

I agree, I prefer Deluxes and Voyagers. I like Voyager Bulkhead for his show accuracy and streamlined look. Leader looks nice, though. I wonder how well he might fit in with the Classics 2.0 guys? He seems to be detailed enough to blend in with them. I might well get him for that reason.

    Leader Bulkhead looks AMAZING.

But aren't these still Toyfare scans? I can't tell from the font and layout because I haven't seen the mag in awhile but I thought those weren't allowed.

edit- oops, did some digging and I see that people already pointed that out. a little late

You are correct, sir, that is what I meant. My bad.

My previous statement was based on past toy lines. I have little doubt that there will be a Leader class Prime or at least a size proportionate to the other figures in the line (for example, Optimus should have some bulk on Bumblebee or Prowl)

IMO, this Leader Brawl is just too big to maintain those dimensions.

So, as I said, I see myself sticking to Voyagers and Deluxe sizes for the Animated toys. Assuming I decide to buy them at all.

Prime looks FAT and too under-detailed for a leader class figure.
Bulkhead is the opposite.. He is made from the essence of win.

I'm thinking that the Voyager Optimus Prime that we're getting is pretty close to the size proportions when compared to the other bots. I personally hope that the "Leader" Optimus Pirme mentioned in one of the overviews of the UK Toyfair is really just this RO&C version, as I would much rather see the third Leader figure turn out to be Ultra Magnus (past tidbits point towards this being true, as we've been told he's bigger than a Voyager). Also, you must mean Leader Bulkhead, as there is no Leader Brawl in this thread, lol.

Speaking of Leader Brawl, thats two big green tanky leader figures we've had recently with lots of little guns and blades and whatnot all over them.

Leader bulkhead looks like his proportions are a lot better than the cartoon or deluxe versions, he's actually bad ass looking!

Umm....we haven't seen any pictures of any Deluxe Bulkhead toy as of yet, though we did hear about one from a report of the UK Toy Fair.
