And to add to that Dilemma, RX-78 is basically a non-sentient weapon at this point, whereas the wounded Gundam are self aware. So do they sacrifice thier own troops medical care to keep the superweapon operational, or do they save their men at the cost of a major strategic advantage? I'm still in two minds about giving RX-78 his own free will. On the one hand, you could end up with a powerful, self aware Gundam hero. On the other, there's something a bit scary about a nuclear bomb with free will... I LOVE this comic. The fact that the readers can engage in this level of debate and speculation is a testiment to how well written and deep it is.
Or sheer luck. Good point to make--would Gundam reinforcements arrive? Everyone knows the RX-78 went out there. Gotta wonder if they'd expect him to take this level of damage... Yeah. It'd be kinda sad to see him patched up in duct tape and tissue paper... Yeah, I missed them. Had to bring them out again at some point. One of the big worries about the RX is exactly how far above a 'drones' mind is he? Venture spoke of his nature, where he would tend to do his own thing if he felt it was the right course of action. The bigger question is how far does this go, as well as whether or not it can be further unlocked. And, whether that's a good idea... Awww. Thanks! *Feels all gushy* Er, ahem. I mean update...
Right. Forgot that the Terrorcons were called Scavengers in this. Anyway, looks like we're about to have another drawn out battle.
Whoa! Those Terrorcons are really after them! Hope that reinforcements come soon. Oh. And will the RX-78 get repaired...and be given his own free will? I sure hope that happens!
... Okay, I would be HUMILIATED to have been taking down by a gun that wimpy. I know you didn't come with a gun of your own, Barricade, but... come on! couldn't you have snagged one of the weapons of one of the cons that's gotten fragged so far? You've got standard-sized fist holes! Dunno who that Gundam is/was, but he DID make a pretty good account of himself. Not that the Huntricons are anything close to the standards of a Decepticon military unit, but he still managed to take two of them out, and probably would have gotten the third. It does look dangerously like the Decepticons might just capture the RX-78.
Yeah, he's screwed. Loved the flame coming out of the venting on the side of that Con's weapon. Really nice touch.
Wow, with the RX-78 possibly about to be captured or destroyed, this very moment could quite possibly change the very tide of the war.
aw dang. there just ain't no pleasin' folks. they just gots to go and keep on firin' on the poor wounded gundam.
