I know how the exsisting Autobots have their roles - Optimus: Leader - Bumblebee: Recon Officer - Ratchet: Medic - Ironhide: Weapons Specialist But what about the new Autobots? I would imagine that Prime will choose a new First Lieutenant to replace Jazz (I'm thinking Ironhide, and if not, Ratchet.). But what about the rest? Here is my ideas: - Sideswipe: Special Forces - Arcee: Squad leader of the motorcycle bots - Skids & Mudflap: Recruits who do the jobs no one else wants to - Jolt: Either Special Forces or foot soldier - Jetfire: He probably doesn't serve much of a military purpose, but he has all of the info about the symbols Sam is seeing and the Decepticon plans and maybe even info on the Fallen and his special weakness. - Wheelie- after he becomes an Autobot, he can be what Frenzy was for the Decepticons in movie 1 - Stratosphere: Transportation - Springer: Air Support - Breakaway (if in the movie): Air Support Any ideas? Please don't insult me for thinking what I did.
id want stratosphere to be in the movie as cannon fodder, like he transforms takes a few steps while shooting like a badass before getting killed in which he dies and falls ontop of other cannon fodder, (oh and it must be a big ass explosion when he gets the shot that kills him)
Im looking at the roles of the original bots more too. Ratchet- hopefully he will actually fix ppl this time. it would be awesome to see his arms transform into a bunch of tools all fixing battle damage at the same time. Ironhide- I think he will be more of a weapons specialist, more like a stratagist of sorts who they rely on heavily in battle. Hopefully they shed light on the friendship bewtween him and prime... who knows. BB- think he will be a little more bad ass this time. Acree bots- would be great as infiltrators, highspeed pursuits. SS- One of their better trained fighters, quick and deadly up close. Something tells me SS may have limited flying capabilities in this film too. Jolt- Simple foot soldiers Twins- Peacful dumb civilians that got tangled up in wars and were forced to learn how to fight...if they can. Jetfire- Utlized for information... hopufully he'll have one last battle left in him. Love to see him somehow get fixed then go one on one with the fallen to which they both die. Springer (?)- Inteligence. Firepower... combo role.
A legends and a robot heroes. meanwhile Brawl isn't in the movie with robot heroes, RPM and a Deluxe!
Movie Legends: If they aren't IN the movie, then why would they be under that title? (every legends from TF1 was in the movie). With the robot heroes, it's a board game to act out parts of the movie (I think). It has the same situation where the first movie ones were all actually IN the movie. No added characters with either of those. There are still toys to be announced too (has wave three been announced or is there even a wave three?)

yeah, but he was also in the first one too. Call me crazy, but I don't think Hasbro's going to do multiple toys of a character unless it's going to (or has had already) have some sort of onscreen representation.
Arcee is the Autobot sniper. Read the prequel comics... she does have a good shot. Sideswipe is definitely an elite Autobot soldier judging by his weaponry. Should be way faster than Ironhide or Bumblebee.. Im going the same with Jolt based on his whips. The twins might be orphans.
