    Hey knoted,
Thanks man I'm glad you like how the bot mode came out.
Rearlights. Silver helps them pop out more but what color do you have in mind?
I was going to go with orange but it just got lost being surrounded by all that red.

    Hey project9,
I used 70% Alcohol. It's rubbing alcohol if that helps.
Another person said that Acetone also would work.
I let the parts set in a plastic cup filled with alcohol for around 20-25 mins.
Came back and began to use the Q-tip to remove the film/ paint.
Now on the back window you will have problems.
You need to take that section off and get the metal bars out of the holes.
When they assembled it some of the film or paint got trapped in between the holes
and even if you get the rest of the window clear you will have blue trapped in the holes.
It looks strange compared to the rest of the window being clear.
You will need a thin brush and toothpick to get the rest of that blue out of the area.
As for the foggy window, hit it with clear coat.
    Worked for me.
One more thing about clearing the windows.
Make sure it is a warm or hot day or be near a small heater.
If it is cool or cold outside the clear coat will make the window foggier and I don't want
you to end up mad at me.

Ah. Acetone works but I figured that would be way too corrosive. I had 91% hanging around and that's what seemed to fog it up - even after diluting with some water. I'll see if some clear coat might help.

You can't get mad at someone about taking their advice/suggestions. =) Customizing, just as any art, needs you to take a risk. If you heed someone's advice and you fail, you can't just blame the tools or the teacher.

Oh wow, that's absolutely stunning. I love the work you did on the metal, and I love the shade of red you used there. How'd you get the windows out?

Though I do think the head crest/helmet should have been black rather than red - it still looks very nice though, excellent work on the gloss.

The front window is attached by 3 screws that are under the front roof.
The rear window is the hard part. It is held in by 2 metal bars.
I heated up my thinest screw driver and pushed the bars out.
It took some time and I had to keep reheating the screwdriver over and over.
    Good luck man:)

It's been about 3 months since someone posted. I guess the Attachments disappear as a thread ages when untouched. Not an uncommon thing.

All of my older customs have been untouched for a year or so and the attachments are still intact. Precisely the reason why mods require us to attach the images to the post is to avoid losing the thread content when people clean out their flickr/photobucket accounts. Someone probably deleted the attachments here.

Thank for letting me know mampy.
I had no idea that the attached pictures could disappear like that.
I have will be adding some more customs in the near future.
I will make sure that future pictures are attached and are uploaded so that this
    doesn't happen again.

This is what a new corvette should look like! but... I get this feeling that it needs chrome. I don't know why, but i'm not used to transformers this nice without chrome. Plus, It was something that old vettes were known for, even the original stingray.
