I thought I posted this before but after looking through my posts I couldn't find it. I did this one a while ago because I didn't care for the toys colors. I started by giving Ravage a base coat of black. The soft plastic parts were first painted with grey craft paint from Walmart and then gone over in black. He was then dry brushed using testors silver, aluminum, steel and finished up in brass. His eye ans some of the other little details were done with a fine tip sharpie marker. C&C Welcome and wanted.
This look really good man, like it's battle worn! Kick ass! I really like this color of metal you have and I read you finished the dry brushing colors with brass? I think for a tiny bit of advice - try to use a daylight bulb and not the yellow bulbs. Looks great man!
Have him Biting the Pipe Releasing the Insecticons! lol, Great Paint job, i really love the movie ravage, cause his mold, can really be tweaked to u liking!
The brass was just the slightest hint it's there. I will have to get different bulbs. I see what you mean about the yellowing. Thanks Cool. I like hearing that, even though I really read it. I want to get that kind of look in other projects. I can't bend his legs enough to get him to do that. I wanted him holding the pipe, as he's getting ready to pull it to him, to release his cargo. Thanks. I apreciate the comment.
