My wife bought a drum stool from a local music shop. The thing has made a world of difference in drumming as far as comfort goes. You don't have to buy a drum stool but just having the seat at the right height makes things just so much easier! Before I was just sitting on a folding chair and adjusted the drum set height to that. But after using the drum stool which is set higher for me it has just been awesome.
I sit on the coffee table. I was wondering if anyone else is unable to hit a lot of notes in a row on the yellow and blue pads when in "freestyle" mode or "big rock ending"? I can roll on the red but have to space my notes out on the blue and yellow.
Thanks for the heads up, but I don't think I'm really going to improve until I separate the actions of my foot from my hands.
Ya the proper seating does make a huge difference that's for sure, however like Zeezz's alluded it still dosint help ****** kick pedal syndrome
