The 45-episode count was from last November, before that above-linked article, and was provided without any context - it didn't say how many seasons it encompassed, and it didn't say it was the complete run. Further, the news report on the front page said the series would "end with a movie," which was not part of the information - all it said was that a three-part movie was part of the 45 episodes, and the report assumed it was a finale.

 

Fair enough, but if there's an actual source on that it wasn't in the report.

 

That's possible and it would also explain why they'd stick a Decepticon insignia on him to make him look like a Decepticon and make it look more convincing.

 

Based off what we know Mini-Con Weaponizers willl be involved in the season and Steeljaw is seen on the box for Decepticon Dragonus and Lord Doomitron. Plus if Shockwave convinced the Predacons or Starscream tricks them it might happen.

But it's just my theory.

 

If you can't give source on that, your claim that it wasn't an assumption doesn't have much value, just hope you understand that.

 

I am hoping the series ends soon. kinda tired of decepticons that look like animals in bot mode.

 

If a season 3 isn't on the horizon, then I hope Netflix picks up the series and continues it, similar to the How to Train Your Dragon TV series.

Heck, this could well be the aforementioned season FOUR that's being recorded. Y'gotta realize how far ahead all this stuff is done - just to compare, recording for Rescue Bots season 3 ended in June 2014 (when DC Douglas posted a video of the wrap-up party), but it would be a full year after that before the final episodes aired.

 

Yeah, unless Hasbro found a magical animation studio that can finish episodes in less than 5 months this can't be a recording for the rest of season 2. Season 3 here we go.

 

Being a fan of this series is like being on a roller coaster. One minute it's all doom and gloom because it's potentially getting cancelled, then it's happy days because it's not

The script says something about Fixit's sensor picking up something and the Autobots going towards a corridor where a portal appeared and taking out their weapons.

*screams into a pillow* OMFG!!! This'll be the first series to reach season 4 since Rescue Bots and G1!!! *squeal like a fangirl*
