First, I thought this was already out. I guess I lost track of Robot Masters once the line ended.

Second, Takara really needs to stop with the black repaints already. It's gotten predictable and boring.

 

Wow, that was fast. It was supposed to be released in February. This works for me though.

 

Every news story I hear from Takara seems to be about a convoy and a black and gold repaint.

 

Are we sure he has been officially released? February was the official release date last I heard too.

The Wonderfuland group had pics of Binaltech Overdrive one or two weeks prior to the official release too, and they just recently had a prototype of THS G1 Convoy...

And I wouldn't rely on TFormers to tell which toys have been officially released. They claimed that Pepsi Convoy was officially out just because Remy already got him, even though the official release was one week later. So...

 

I guess I'll consider him released when I can order him then. Either way good news, I should be able to get it soon.

I wish they had RM Flash Lio Convoy instead.

 

It's not just Takara, black repaints are a japanese toy tradition.

 

Hehe yeah, I need to reshoot that. I've got the regular black Leo Convoy to add, black Hot Rod, and a couple others.

 

Not huge on the black repaints but Lio convoy is a cool mold all but the shoulders.
