So back in January, I pre-ordered the Generations Selects Lobclaw and Kraken from Robotkingdom because it was one of the only sites that had them in stock and took the money upfront. When the end of March came around, I checked each day to see whether the pair has shipped yet, only to notice the order never updated. Clicking the "Track Shipment" button only ever resulted in this handsome mess of code: Of course, the order page already had a tracking number, and because it was just a few days ago that I thought to track it manually, I tried USPS to see if it was in the states already. Oops. Anyway, the come noticeably from Hong Kong, so I checked Hongkong Post's Track and Trace feature and got... Well, at least it shipped at all, I suppose. Still, the fact that the status hasn't updated in almost two weeks now is disconcerting. The HKP website has some detail on how the COVID-19 outbreak is affecting delivery, but it's not too clear as to which type of service this package would fall under and what to do about it. Considering the circumstances, maybe I'll just straight up never see this package on my doorstep, who knows?
China has suspended all air freight shipments to most countries since around March 27/28 or so. Robot Kingdom HAS shipped the items, but they're just sitting in some warehouse or distribution center until they lift the shipping suspension. Unfortunately patience is the watch word here. I've got my last 2 Seacons and Nemesis Prime from RK sitting in China, plus a TF:GO Budora & Sword Prime sitting in Japan (similar shipping suspension situation). Judging by the HK Post tracking, looks like your items are in the same situation as mine.
I never use the tracking system RK uses. I usually copy and paste the track number to USPS which is what the package will transfer to when it hits the US. I ordered a number of things from them. Also I ordered a loose Mandolarian from a guy on EBay who is based who is very well known and that item shipped. Not sure how long it will take to get here with the Covid19 crap.
You have to wait even longer due to the pandemic. I have 3 packages in limbo between HK and here. Oh well.
That's about the same as I usually do since my previous orders from RK tend to make it across the pond by the time I check, hence I jumped straight to USPS at first. If the HKP announcements are anything to go by, they've got pretty much the whole region on lockdown for who knows how long. I really shouldn't be surprised, but after I just ordered something from Japan last week with little to no hassle and only waiting an extra 3 or 4 days at most, I honestly didn't expect to bump into this much of a roadblock ordering something from the same region.
Sorry if this is too far off topic, but is this all China include Hong Kong packages that are tied up/delayed or just mainland China that everyone's experiencing?
Robotkingdom is in hong kong so I day yes, My nemesis is at this status, EMS wasnt worth the extra price
