Awesome, man! Thanks for posting these photos.
Great video review. Looking forward to the next one. Still haven’t purchased any of these yet, but it’s getting more and more tempting.

I sort of want them both. I like the canopy of the second one with the limbs of the top one.

Here are some more images. I don’t really care for the canopy on the second one.

I am liking the top heavy aesthetics of these. Definitely prefer the top one to bottom one

Is it only the original carbe fig that has the smaller humanoid "driver?". As opposed to the ant?

Thanks, ended up ordering both from ShowZ just now. I also have Ronin and Carbe—eventually I should try some combinations but I’m a little paranoid that I won’t be able to put them back together

EDIT—Also here are some Sun of the Empire reviews for them:

Oh yeah, forgot to comment here. Got a couple of these over the holiday. Sila and Soldier Ants. Really neat figures. I was surprised by how modular they actually are. There're a lot of small little bits and pieces that can be removed, not just large chunks like limbs or whatever. So the possibilities are endless when it comes to customizing and combining.
Though that does come with its own issues: I worry about losing track of what parts came with which figures. And with no sort of instruction manual to reference, you really gotta keep track of what you're taking apart.

Some of these look like they’d go really well with the Diaclone Reboot series.
