Soundwave is quite possibly my favorite character in the whole G1 Transformers lineup. I will never get rid of the official MP. This one looks promising as I am a FT fan, but I really can't see myself buying another version. At least for now.

 

Finally finished the model for my HKO Acoustic Wave bot figure, and he's on the printers. Should be assembled by tomorrow. Still need to do his hands and guns.

But if you're looking for US sellers, you'll be waiting until FT announces anything new and official about this guy.

 

Most likely full scale preorders will not go up until after FT shows color pictures of him, possibly at TFCon in a week and a half, we don't know what they plan to show. They only have 2 more figures actually offered for preorder right now (Dragstrip and Seaspray 2.0) so they should be offering new ones soon, and are most likely waiting for TFCon to show color images before preorders are offered. The preorders that are sold out are just stores who put them up on their own without FT soliciting them yet.

If this guy is still in development, I'll probably stick with my MP-13, but if they do him in his marvel colours,

colour me interested.

 

MP13 doesnt fit my collection aesthetic so im very excited for this guy, also FT doesn't seem to do recolours anymore but they did mention a panda Thomas so who knows honestly

No, not this figure. My line of MP scaled bots were designed so I'd have G1 style bot modes without compromising the look for transformation. I made a transforming MP seeker design, but even though it worked out fine, it wasn't fun to do, and the bot mode needed to be altered for the engineering. I might do another transforming design again at some point, but it will likely be Macross related rather than a TF project.
