Still kinda puzzled there's not even been a hint of a black repaint of this guy by FT. I mean - Soundblaster fits their marketing plan too. After all, they've already completed 5 figures from Japanese Headmasters + more scheduled. And doing Buzzsaw & Ratbat also fits as they were in the JP series too. Poor Buzzsaw - always second fiddle to Laserbeak and the other cassettes.

 

I’m telling ya, a BuzzSaw and RatBat two-pack would be FT’s biggest seller this year.

Easiest thing Fans Toys could do, is release a set of repaints for Buzzsaw, Enemy, and Howlback (or another Ravage repaint)

As much as I'd like to see their Ratbat design, I think an Overkill/Slugfest pairing would likely sell better than Buzzsaw/Ratbat

Got invoiced by ShowZ for the reissue. Even though they just said the price would be 185-200 in the ShowZ thread, the final price is now 235 (233 with a PO). That's a pass for me. Gonna roll the dice on the $168 price on TFs Express.

Ironically, last time I ordered from them, they sent me the wrong version of Newage Soundwave, but now I own both toy and toon decos and quite pleased with both!

 

same here, I will consider it for the 13 days left since I'm also waiting for MP Skyfire, so wondering why is this release so expensive?

 

I don't understand why he is so expensive, at least now he is a little bit cheaper than the first release that had, if I remember correctly, the same price as the US release which was pointless.

I also don't understand how they could give a price range and miss it by so much, specially hours before sending out the invoice.

 

If you want to save a few bucks and get it much faster, Toydojo has him on sale for $230

Well I just woke up to a price (points credited) readjustment for Acoustic Wave at Show.Z, seems they are infact going with the $170 ish price

Can someone who hasn't paid the invoice in full confirm what the new final price is?

I still haven't been invoiced for the re-release, but I checked my account just now and the final price is now showing as $170.99. The actual listing still displays the final price as "unknown for now" though.

 

The reduced price is welcome news! I was waiting, holding off on pre-order, it felt like a mistake. Especially since, in my experience, once I get invoiced for a pre-order, they officially reveal final price on website within a day or two.

 

I have the same showing now. So with the deposit final price should now be $173USD.

Too late for me. I ate the $2 deposit and still saved a little. $168 at TFs express (thnk it was cheaper if you POd) and it already shipped 2 days ago.
