Quick question for the group or the site in general.

How quick was it that FT Soundwave got KOd between the original and KO releases?

Comparable to the time difference with AstroTrain?

I’m just curious if we might see FT Jive being KOd.

BTW- I have the official FT Soundwave and think it is a lovely figure. Up there as one of my favourite figs in my collection.

 

That’s too bad, really. I’d be in on this the moment they were announced. For that matter any of the variant tapes too to replace my Takara ones…Enemy, Wing Thing, Nightstalker and/or Stripes.

In the meantime I’m sorely considering a second set of Rumble/Laserbeak/Ravage because my current Ravage has a QC issue where his hip-missle’s wing can’t fold outward, so I’d replace him and attempt to paint the second Laserbeak in Buzzsaw’s colors.

 

Two weeks?

 

I was about to come here and ask the same thing. I'm going with the MMC scale for everything except Soundwave's birds though, so I'm wondering if spending that money even makes sense or if I should buy Takaras (or Toy House Factory, for that matter).

Yes I did thanks. Just waiting on delivery but it'll be a while as UK postal service is currently dead on its ass. But looking forward to when I does arrive.

I actually ordered a second one. Have an Acoustic Wave still in the box. Been debating on selling or displaying in alt mode. Grabbed this just in case I do keep him.

 

Is there a tiny version of altmode soundwave, like there is for megatron?

 

I think I remember seeing someone post one, but I cant remember who, when, or where.

There's also a hollow one that came with the mainline Centurion Drone set. I bought mine off ebay from someone splitting the set.

Just my luck out the box... and on a part that's basically impossible to remove without physically destroying the piece it's attached to.

 

That ain't right bro.

 

For the money you're paying, ask for a full replacement. Shouldn't have to settle for such defects.

 

Or, to avoid that hassle, a quick touch up with some dark paint?
