I’ve got takara tapes for sale also. 2 for 5’s over here. Collectors down the way got straight up garbage

 

so finally got a change to handle mine. in hand, there is no question the acoustic wave feels WAY better. I do think the takara still LOOKs better (to me)in a lot of ways too but i knew that going in. i did have some minor paint blemish issue ironically right near the QC sticker but its minor and not worth the hassle of trying to resolve it for me. i'm think both retailer and FT would be like "yeah thats not really an issue" most likely haha.

anyway handling this thing and posing it feels great. also i can't believe some reveiwer (forget who?) couldn't tell the blue was paint. its pretty obvious. for now its going back in its box until I have a place for it to display. did not regret the money spent on it so far.

 

Picked mine up on the weekend from KoolToyz, and was just able to go through the transformation - I love the heft and solidity. I'm torn between this and MP-02 though, since my collection leans heavily towards toy decos. I feel like if the RP-01 was a deeper blue and the pearlescent forearms/thighs/face shield weren't as "bright" it would be an easier decision, but I do appreciate the swappable accessories to get closer to the toy deco.

actually proper excited ,my mp13 was not sold that long ago but it's not looking right without the walkman guy standing next to megatron

 

While i love the figure, i don't find it miles better than mp13 the cassette especially not. Other than the metal, it's got bad proportions with slumped shoulders. But the change from toy to cartoon look is brilliant. I do see the alt mode buttons piece breaking on a lot of them later on though.

Overall, he's great, but if i didn't get him for free, i might have been disappointed in it as an upgrade

 

Finally got this paid off and over with… costed me about $200 damn. Preordered with the wrong guy. Going Terry’s in the future

 

Still no word from bbts on when this is showing up at their warehouse. No way this gets to me before thanksgiving now anyway.

Maybe by christmas? Jfc i can drive to toydojo and pick 1 up.
