Whoa, Robot Paradise doing their own promo videos? That was way more info than we ever get from FT. The first glimpse is always candid pic of a box at a retailer. I hope they keep this up and get this thing out already.

 

The toy version details are so sorely needed to add some interesting surface detail compared to toon. I am actually loving the toy version headsculpt as well, the only thing against it is how much I like red eyes over yellow, but damn does that toy head exude soundwavey attitude.

 

The party's about to get started.

Edit: just noticed he's suffering from the Takara disease. Look at his index finger, it's crooked just like how official MPs like to do it ..............

 

I'll be damned, he does do a non crotch thrusting pose! Time to pay off the rest of the preorder.

Looks good in that video. Wish the blue was a bit darker but I like how he's looking, especially with the extra detailed panels...

Though that does beg the question... If I like the details and want a darker blue, why the hell should I replace MP-13? Still on the fence but will see how in-hand reviews compare the two.

 

Gotta say, that does look fantastic.

My only concern is how I get Buzzsaw for completing my S1-TFTM collection (i.e. I have no desire for Soundblaster, but nobody who buys him will sell Buzzsaw; I have no need for Slugfest and Overkill, but nobody who wants those will sell Buzzsaw either...)

 

Because it’s new and that’s what us fans do. The fresh smell of new plastic and lead paint is heavenly.

It mainly depends on if you are fine with MP-13 aesthetically. Toon is the way.

I have a crazy feeling this guy will get a T, M or X repaint that really blows this out of the water. Seems for sure we’ll get SoundBlaster too.

I wonder if they’d do Ratbat with SB and Buzzsaw with a Soundwave repaint? That’d really be milking the fandom.

I’ve been eating a side of bacon every morning to ensure that I won’t have to worry about retirement. Mmmmm…delicious contingency plan.

 

Ratbat has no Ocular Max version and the official one is the rarest tape. The Ocular Max birds are too big for most people, so they really have us over a barrel if you want a nice updated set of just Laserbeak, Buzzsaw and Ratbat.
