Yeah, like that will ever happen. When has FT, in all of their released figures, has ever done a straight up repaint of another character?

 

All the Dibots had G2 or Diaclone repaints. And X versions. Quietus, Sovereign, and Phoenix all have X versions too.

 

I was worried purely about its horns. Idk why some in that thread took it as me thinking Nero would be a disaster, but All I was concerned with was the horns snapping in the package because they are too tightly packed. I have confidence in UT's quality.

 

Ok, I stand corrected for the Dibots only. Those X versions are not different characters.

Taobao agent just requested payment for Soundwave so this is on the way before long. BTW, he was $86 on Taobao. He'll be $40 for shipping I'm sure but that's still less than half what most places are asking.

The tapes I had to reorder, the seller I got Soundwave from ran out of preorder spaces.

ETA: it was Soundwave I had to reorder, when I talked to the agent, $85-86 was for the tapes. Their initial message wasn't so clear lol!

The tapes will ship in october.

I've now reordered Soundwave from a different seller, we'll see how this goes!

 

I can tell you why.

A lot of people confuse someone being pessimistic about their own hobby with them being pessimistic about someone else’s hobby.

Basically, you making little cracks about Nero’s potential issues/BMB’s QC issues to manage your own expectations was taken as you trashing the tastes of other collectors.

It’s not rational that they feel this way, but given how many outright trolls there are on the boards, I think it’s understandable.

 

The entitlement and the elitism are strong in this post.

I wonder if Soundblaster can be considered as a new different character, or just a repainted/upgraded Soundwave? I know how the Japanese anime depicted him as. But I still wonder how FT will reason out Soundblaster, and thus decide to release a repaint of Soundwave or not.

 

This is my first time posting so I don't know if this is rude or not but would it be okay if I were to ask what taobao seller this was or a link to it.

 

Air Toys Store, but I just talked to my agent, and it's the tapes they got a request for, NOT the main robot Soundwave, so the $85 price makes more sense. I was confused because they had the wrong picture next to my order in the list!

Also, they said it is not shipping right away, so sorry that I made everyone overexcited! I don't speak chinese so sometimes it takes a bit of discussion to clarify things!

I'd still rather go this route as long as I don't end up with 2 of the same item. but Yoybuy's customer service is pretty good, they once recovered 70 USD for me when some a-hole tried to buy stuff out of my account.

Bingo! This why the stigma title "consumer" has replaced the word customer...too many folks eating anything what that's thrown at them.. fanstoy just found a way to get rid of the loyal customer, for foolish ones. Fanstoy will part a fool from his or her money...and it'd becoming a reality.
