Hey all, was wondering if someone out there can help me with a compare. I'm looking for a pic of how robot masters seekers scale to the modern deluxe sizes. Looking more for the head and wings really.

Anything would be helpful.

With RM SS with Classics Deluxe and others (pic taken from the Net):

 

I'd love to see the RM design revisited with some more modern engineering ~ a lot of great ideas, but kinda poor execution (i also love what they did with the wing shape of the classics seekers ~ still evocative of the F-15 but tweeked to give the 'bot mode the classic G1 silhouette)

 

I remember how great these were when they came out. Now we've made it to the newer MP Starscream, makes everything else looks like shit lol

still fun toys though!

I found on shapeways some classic like seeker heads but they made them to fit the robot masters mold. So was wondering if that would be fitting to the deluxe size of today. Seems that it might just work out. Along with wing size as well.

Robotmasters seekers have:

+ heads not directly attached to nosecones
+ sleeker null rays
+ more G1-ish looking wings
+ able to pose arms without pushing the wings backwards
+ better decos

-no knees
-droopy looking chest canopies
-smaller than typical CHUG deluxes
-painted canopies
-no coneheads

If you gotta pick one, I'd stick with CHUG just because you can get the Seeker rainbow. But if you can own both kinds, do it as they are both great in their own ways.
