So here's the problem, they didnt name AND/OR describe quite a few of teh Cons on the final Battle, So even guess who they are would be tough.

He will probably turn up later in the Story, along with Jetfire.

Jolt could possibly not be in the novel

We know Jolt was a late addition, so I maybe Jolt isn't actually in the script that the novelist is working off of.

 

Cool, read up to Chapter 3, I'll wait for the movie for the rest.

 

I think the book was based off a late draft of the script. therefore Jolt was added later on. I'm pretty sure jolt was at the filming for the Cemetary scene.

the unknown helicopter could also be "Blademaster" from the ROTF prequel novel.

That's actually a good point, all depending on when Jolt was added and when the manuscript was penned.

Does raise questions about the movie-to-novel accuracy and canonicity though.

Read the original novel in line for the first showing of the first movie. Other than some names and a few little things here or there, at least to my recollection, it was pretty accurate.

 

Well, the fact that a character (who, I will admit, is a relative unknown in the overall plot of the movie) is so far missing from the book, that could be more than a little detail  

Personally, I have a thing against most novels based on popular franchises. A friend of mine takes it a step farther and calls them glorified fanfiction.

I mean, look at the entire lineup of Star Wars books  . They can be great reads, but Lucas could decide to make movies 7, 8, and 9 that fly in the face of just about anything written about the events past the 6th movie  

This is different, but I personally try not to take the books as what will actually happen ^_^

 

I think that Jolt will have a very Brawl-type role in the movie. He will probably just end up in the background at times rarely (if anytime) getting his own frame. He will probably die and get blown up and the audience won't flinch or wince or feel a thing. It would be like: Oh another infantry went down. Oh well... pretty much everyone else is ok. This is wrong, but whatever... he was a last minute edition.

He was definitely seen in the Egypt set. People were starting to think that the Volt was a TFormer after seeing that picture because why would Sam take his normal car all the way to Egypt when he has everyone else?
