Pretty sure it's bigger than a Voyager. So more than $20.

 

The Volcano mode has more sense than the supposed space ship. I got a mail from Robotkingdom today. I ordered 2 Unicrons, one for me and one for a friend as I did with Voyager Breakdown and they say that the boxes are too big for the usual shipping method. They will upgrade the shipping but fortunately it won't cost extra.

 

Because it's so whacky it is cool. Japanese(if that is right) imagination set free, love it. It could also be some kind of cyberverse mind control station. I think the designers went out there way to make it link on to Megatron and OP and alt mode was just what it could be. The robot mode is sort of sunburst when it's standing there arms out with the big horns and that is cool.

I wish i could get one here in the UK for a reasonable price after all it looks Kabaya in quality just with chrome paint...

 

The guy flip the arms after combining them and then put them back on, so the right becomes left and vice-versa...

They could be left in the same position, they don't have fist or hands molded or anything.

 

Not exactly, since the connectors are just in one side of the arms. What you can do, I guess, is to have the arms permanently swapped so you don't need to swap them anymore during transformation, but I don't know if the look wouldn't be weird in robot mode even thinking the arms don't have fists or hands (which, by the way, is a turning off...).

 

That's what I meant, to leave them swapped.

 

Bot mode looks alright. The alt mode? Ugh. Do they even bother anymore? And the clicking plastic sounds just makes it sound so cheap and fragile.

 

Sorry, I didn't realize that.
However, I was looking the video again and I suspect that the robot mode may look weird because if you permanently swap the arms, they will be inclined toward the body.

you know I have yet to buy 1 prime toy...this the first time I have completely rejected a toy line...I wonder why.

 

But it makes sense because since he's in the Earth's core. Yes it could be better but at least it makes sense due to him being made of rock and his alt mode a volcano.

Dude just because we have one dud which is Airachnid and one toy that has a weird alt mode like Unicron doens't make the whole line bad because of it. It still has amazing figures like Breakdown,Wheeljack,Vehicon,Soundwave,Arcee,Dreadwing and Ultra Magnus just like every other line.

Well....to be true....it's now a sharp flying volcano face tank of deathly evil death. Which, to me, is the greatest thing I've ever seen.

The toy's alt mode was intended to be a spacecraft....

 

That's what I thought orginally but then it's likely that the volcano mode was intended to be the mode for Unicron and the whole spaceship thing was probably mistaken as such.

 

excellent theory, either way the instruction sheet will say otherwise
