It's amazing what a nice coat of paint and a new face sculpt can do for a figure. I would have never even considered this before, but now I may just. This could be a great option for people looking for a Masterpiece-scale Springer... if the price is right.

 

This Springer has the best face sculpt of all Springer toys released by third-party companies. The size of the head is good as well. I'd like a better angle of the car mode to see the rear, but so far it looks like a pleasure to look at. Well done, Robot Here  

 

Man, so it's an Open & Play remold? I have the original, but it kicks pretty badass with his head sculpt. For $60 I will likely get this one, maybe put the Original into Helicopter mode.

Still couldn't fix the chest seam. Oddly I could've lived with the face, it's that one thing that bugs me.

 

I wonder if this will be a floppy mess as well  

 

All yes except Allen's colouring was even worse far out.

 

I'm so into this I'm embarrassed. Redoing colours and head sculpt is genius. Is it too much to hope the chest plugs in better? Could be the best Springer on the market...

As for this figure, completely no interest since I don't like Springer.

Nice. I'm a little long in Springers With Open Play (Nice but terrible head), MMC (a solid effort) and that puffy Fisher Prie one, I think it was Unique Toys? Really regret buying that. FT didn't quite do it for me (and the FT price is a killer) I was keen for the XTB one but it seemed to turn into a bit of a dumpster fire alongside their Kup? This is interesting, Will see what it goes for on TaoBao.
Slightly off-topic, is that Takara's Arcee? That torso (both sagging chest and massive backpack) just looks worse, every time I see it. Did anyone ever fix that chest, with mods or a replacement part?
