Why is Robot Heros ripping off Takara's Soundwave mold and even calling it Soundwave ? Don't they know that they will shut them down like Takara and Hasbro did with Justitoys and the WST line?
It's one thing to design like there toys, but to copy them and freaking call it the shame thing is just stupid.. Now I'm all for these new designed cassettes with different transformations , bring them on... I just don't want them to get shut down before the get stared good, hello!

 

I don't think Robot Hero have officially named it beyond SG-01.

 

Personally - I'm probably going to wait for reviews first. I like these characters - but I'm not sure if they are going to be that great. Ive been turned off by all the KFC casettes and how wimpy and loose and messy they are. I am assuming that it's because the figures are so small - but then again, PE made some pretty awesome little Reflector and Rumble/Frenzy bots. I have high hopes, but probably going to hold off a bit. They are pretty cheap - but these days, there are so many great bots - need to spread the cash around.

If anyone is keen and wants to throw their name down - got pricing on these if anyone is interested for rub deals.

 

Any updates on when Slugfest and Overkill are dropping?

 

Maybe when their KO Soundwave gets released?

 

They really should have fixed Slugfest's spikes so that they lock in place. At least in alt mode, unlike their KFC counterparts, they actually look like cassettes.

Hmm, I $30CAD like this- but for $49CAD I might have to pass.

 

That T-rex chicken is awful. And I agree, the spike plates locking into place needs to be fixed before production.

 

Yeah. Turned me off pretty quick. I would pay about $12 a piece.

 

Just seen the reviews on these and I must say, these are for the cassettes collectors that just want any and every Transformer cassette tape for the collection.
These are just dorky looking, nothing like what was seen in the cartoon even though it was maybe one episode ...
Durden is just bad with you having to slide the spikes and not locking in. And Barney is cool to transform , but where would you put him on your shelf ? Not a MP cassette , so maybe with other random cassettes?
I'm picking them up because I am one of those cassettes completest out there.
Maybe next set will be better and glad to get any new cassettes to tell the truth.

I've been waiting to find them loose.

 

Not good. Durden's plates not locking into place at all is awful, but I suppose could be remedied with floor polish. Barney's tail is attached with a hilariously fragile and almost non-existent tab. These guys may look better in tape mode than KFC's effort, but KFC's look far better in dino mode and are probably better quality. I wish Takara would just made official versions, but it seems unlikely at this point. But you never know, I guess.

 

Kfc cassetes having better quality than anything. Lol.

 

KFC's cassettes at least need reprolabels for sure. I'm unaware of any other issues with the cassettes, unless somebody could maybe enlighten me.

 

Eh well Eject and Rewind on the first release of blaster were horrible paintwise. The Ramhorn mold is anything but stellar lookswise. And pretty much thats it as far as I am concearned and know. The rest dont have an appeal to me KFC or otherwise.

 

An auto-scout tape would interest me. I wish I'd gotten the I-Gear version years ago.
