    The new version isn't $300 cheaper, they just made the original $300 more expensive.

    So the original’s price increased by $300 and they introduce a smaller model at the price of the original, or close to it

    Got all excited at first thought I had another chance at a transforming prime at retail , then see the price gouging ouch! I hope this one does so bad it goes on a deep discount , would serve them right for being greedy

    God I hate that rebranding. It sounds so generic. Oculus Quest has a much better ring than Meta Quest.

    Love me some Optimus Prime, but not for $700, No way, Jose. The novelty will wear off fast and end up in the closet. I wouldn't even buy it if it was $200.00. It's a cool idea but not enough for me to bite.

    Wow. Thew Adams, host of Pulsecon, had a look at the Flagship:



    He walked away not very happy.

    It seems finicky. He constantly had a voice telling him that the joints were stuck or that it needed a smoother surface.

    I think it gave him a minor existential crisis.

    Who actually wants one of these? I can’t imagine it being fun in any way past the first few minutes and is in no way worth a few hundred dollars. I’m pretty sure I’d find more entertainment out of the RoTB Smash Changer Optimus than this.
