Why are you browsing IMDb? You know most of that stuff is user-made, right? It's like going on wikipedia.

Aliens would be my guess. Plus, did it make enough cash for a sequel?

I dunno. IMDB as a source? Unlikely. They'd do an actual press release.

Not that Robocop was a bad movie. I'd probably rent the sequel, or get it cheap.

I was about to ask if the remake earned enough to warrent a sequel, but IMDB... really?
I wouldn't trust the same "news" if it was comming from Wikipedia, but I would say that, in-general, Wiki info is more trustworthy than IMDB info.

It made just over $242 million worldwide, but it cost $100 million to make, not including marketing. So, I'm not real sure if it ultimately made a profit for the studio. I suppose that could still happen if it sells well on Blu-ray and DVD, but I wouldn't trust IMDB regardless.

First one was nothing more than average. But based on that title alone, I'd definitely see this in theaters.

well that does sound like the natural progression of events from the "first."
