No, I have no plans to do a reshell with this. Most crossovers don't appeal to me, as I enjoy most things separately, but not together.

. . . . and it knows you! Recently, I've been using it a bit just to snap some snapshots of things to share and such. It was a wedding anniversary present from my folks. It replaced the last table we had from when my wife and I got married. The old table run it's course, to the point I was using it to make customs on (with a tablecloth, of course).

Normally, I use the kitchen table for my photo shoots, but this table and its location isn't so conducive for such. Eh, I'll get back to doing that eventually. In the meantime, it is good to help me in fits of randomness like this, as I can just shoot a photo quickly, and then clear the table off quickly :)

    Now, to get some more paint . . . . :)

Very cool! I have little stack of kits in my closet. I should break one out and start on it. I find model building very therapeutic!

    Look forward to more progress.:thumbs2:

Yes! You should! This would have been more therapeutic had I not ran out of paint. NOW I need therapy :lol

I'll get another can of spray paint when I get paid next week. :)

Oddly enough, I found myself wanting to post this in a "Toy Discussion" forum, since that's what model kits are - toys. I'm just really sad that our culture (speaking mainly of retail stores) value painting and creating as part of "play". Oh well, we still have Radicons, yes?

    YES! :)

I'm a Robocop fan, so this definitely intrigues me. But Allen, is there any chance you can also document your progress here? While I do post on other forums, I'm on Radicons a lot more. And to be honest, I'm not a big fan of having to peruse different forums for something when they can just as easily be done here, although I understand it makes things a lot easier to keep everything in one centralized location and providing a link for people to follow along.

I'll certainly be updating this thread some, but most of my progress will be documented over at Toyark.com. I rarely do a non-TF custom (or even make non-TF purchases), so this gives me the more rare opportunity for me to promote our Creative Section at Toyark.com and our 2005 Network as a whole. If it wasn't for that, I'd be posting everything here, as I spend most of my time here as well (obviously). I also keep things "in house" as well, as you'll never find me posting links to a Facebook page or anything like that so you can see more.

Are you going for factory fresh or all bulleted up like that pic? This would be a great excuse to exercise those kit building muscles that don't get flexed very often with Tfs.

Things like Photo etch parts, color modulation, oil paints and pigment powders.......Dangit! Now I gotta dig out a kit.....I think I have a Revell 1/48 Mig-25 Foxbat (Blitzwings Plane altmode) on the top of the stack!

Yeah, at least one of them I'll be creating to be "screen accurate" to the Robocop 2 opening in regards to battle damage.

Haha, yeah you need to get those model kits out now so we can have a party!

Gee, why would you use a Micromaster Stakeout for a OCP Police Cruiser?

I've got an update on this that I've just posted to Toyark (you can click the link in the first post). I'll mirror some of the photos here later tonight. I'm almost done with the majority of the work here. From there, I'll move on to the battle damaged cruiser seen in the opening of Robocop 2.

Thanks for checkin' this out :)

I finished two of the three up tonight (no photos yet). The third is ready to be "blown up".

Awesome, "I'd buy that for a dollar".;)

Are you building the battle damaged version complete with flames like the pic in your first post? It would look really cool with some hot glue flame effects with led lighting.
