does anyone else have the feeling that that supposedly dummy leaked out line that came out a while ago is actually the real outline?

Could be, but maybe it's all part of Bay's uber awesome misinformation campaign. Holy crap this could be too!!! :lol

Seriously though, I enjoy all the rumors true or false... I still watched the first movie after reading all the leaks and I'll watch this one for sure as well! Though the Hot Rod described in the 'leaked script' was pretty darned awesome and seriously needs to be in the next movie whether or not that script was real or not! :D

Cool. Hope that there isn't bad blood between Bay and the writers because of the strike.

nah, i'd hope not. Bays just doing his job, part of which is conceptualizing action scenes and major plot scenarios. he wasnt part of the strike to begin with.

Yeah. I don't think they really would blame Bay that much. He's got a movie to make, after all.

I was thinking the same thing. It wouldn't surprise me if that outline was the real deal, but it also wouldn't surprise me if it were fake. I hope at least some of it will be used for the sequel, because that outline was a fun read and would make a great film.

well, I hope some things from the dummy script get changed if they use it. I wasn't really a big fan of "high priest Soundwave"

I like this whole "mis-information with real information" leaking, it's fun, like a game.

"Is this real? What does this backup? There's some inconsistencies here..." It's like a big mystery game, only you don't find out if you're right until the movie comes out.:p

Bay's a sneaky fucker, but a funny one.

For me it was the use of Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod. I got no quams with Magnus, just too early in the movieverse, however, Hot Rod hasn't died soon enough. If there was ever a character I'd like to see abolished from TF history it is he. He's down at the bottom of my list. Down past Wheelie (As I might have said before)

Good to have Orci back, he was always nice to the fans even if the fans were not always nice to him. Orci was also cool about being able to disagree with him about something without taking it personal.

I actually didn't like the outline too much. LOTR style Transformers battle FTL. Plus they would need to film the 2nd sequel back to back so that we wouldnt be left waiting for so long after a cliffhanger like that.

Though I like him, I'd also like to tell him and Kurtzman to stop using computer 'hacking' scenes. Given how increasingly computer-savvy the population is getting (especially the always-connected youth population of the United States), it's incredulous that Hollywood screenwriters still treat the computer as if it's a Magic Mystery Box Nobody Understands, so theoretically can do anything the plot requires.

    kukuku...

No offense to Orci or anything, but after the first movie I'd really rather him not touch another script.

oh...he helped on Star Trek 11 didn't he? Oh well, anyone who works on Trek is flogging a dead horse.

I find it encouraging that Bay is so dedicated to the movie's production. It's not as if he went and wrote a full script, but he certainly seems eager to push production along that little bit faster.
