I'm surprised it took two pages before someone made an Orci/Kurtzman jab... :redface2:

Ever watch the new Star Trek movie?

OFF-TOPIC: I did. And IMO, it wasn't all that great.

I thought those writers were too busy to work on Transformers 3 yet they have time to do TF Prime?

Well, to each their own, but you'd be hard-pressed to say it wasn't better than RotF's script :lol

I think Orci and Kurtzman are capable of doing some good writing, as they seem to be actually interested in TF lore; perhaps being able to write without the restraint of Mike Bay's brand of humor/story preferences will help.

Either way, I think it'll be awesome if the CGI is anything like the stuff in the WFC trailer.

It's not like they wrote TF2, either. Or at least not all of it.

Couldn't Hasbro get the writters of Beast Wars to work on the tf cartoon series?

As a fellow colleague member from another forum wrote when he read the news of Orci and Kurtzman working on the new transformers cartoon:

I'm interested in seeing how a Transformers series manned by Orci and Kurtzman, without them having to work with Bay, will end up.

CG? Hmm..if it's set on earth, I hope human characters will look good. In most tv-budget cg, these often look crap. Thankfully, 3d models HAVE come a long way..

Let's show what K&O have to offer in a working environment loose from Bay. :)

Ha.. yeah I see that on the 6th post. Oh well. It's perhaps more popular news than anticipated.

The CGI aspect definitely interests me. It could be awful, or pretty darn good.

Whats up with the GOOD news today? First Allspark Almanac Vol. 2 now this?

The CG in Beast Machines still stands up to today's standards after 10 years. I hope it'll be on par with Clone Wars!

Sounds good to me, loved the look of Beast Wars, and that was years ago, if they go CG this could be a really great series..and I do like the writing styles of Orci and Kurtzman.:D
    Wouldn't miss an episode!!!

I had a feeling it would be CG since WFC is supposed to be related to the new show in some way. Hopefully, the animation will be good like Beast Wars. Looking forward to it!

I guess only time will tell.
