I'm just grateful she's playing Lily and not Marylin.

The house looks great, at least. That photo makes me wish the movie was going to be in black and white.

I remember Spot the dragon that lived under their stairs, but yeah, Igor’s a new one on me. New character or super obscure one?

From the article - "No such character appears in the series, though “Igor” was the name of Grandpa’s pet bat. In the movie The Munsters’ Revenge, however, there’s a character named Cousin Igor, who was the caretaker for Castle Dracula. McCoy had recently teased that he was playing “Dracula’s butler” in the movie, so it sounds like Zombie is taking inspiration from Munsters’ Revenge."

Admittedly, I didn't read the article.

Sadly, he's probably more well known for being in the Hobbit at this point. But yeah, him and Ace are my favorite Doctor/companion pairing of all-time, and I will gladly go see Munsters just for him.

When will people start to realize giving movie directing rights to an edgy metal enthusiast guy who calls himself "Zombie" at his age is about as much of a bad idea as giving free hand to Kevin Smith, a 50 year old who wears a backwards baseball cap and behaves like a schoolkid?
It's the same as giving movies to M. Night Shayalaman after Signs and Happening. Just money thrown out the window. These people must have powerful friends in Hollywood.
I can only imagine this will go as swimmingly as his terrible "bearded hobo Mike Myers" Halloween movies went. Expect Sherri Moon Zombie to get some role where she can show off her curves because like Paul Anderson, Rob loves to show what a hot wife he has...

That seems spot on for what I expect for this movie...

He tried, once. Ever heard of this gem?

If you didn't, it was because it was a tedious adult "comedy" where most of the "humor" came from repeated cartoony murder and sex.

Ugh I can see this happening cuz it’s Rob Zombie & because everyone seems to think it’s so funny, when family-friendly, rated G stuff takes a sudden rated-R turn. If he’s as big a fan of the Munsters as he claims, then I hope he’ll respect their all-ages-appropriate demeanor.

Except M.NS's movies consistently make money, and he's actually started to make a couple okay ones since then. You say they must have powerful friends in Hollywood, but more likely it's that you don't understand the entertainment industry economy. For example, you hate Zombie's Halloween but it brought in $80 mil on a $15 mil budget. To studio execs, that is considered a great return on investment.

Igor was a bat that Grandpa occasionally talked to in the original series. He was not a human character. Just FYI.

Grandpa was occasionally a bat, too, so who knows.

The character is from Munster's Revenge. So, he is canonical.

I'm actually looking forward to the movie, now that Sylvester McCoy is attached.
