cashanova can you recommend a decent pin punch and dremel for a beginner on a budget?

For the pin I use an old 3 inch pin from an old Transformer I cut up. A cheep pin hammer from the local DIY store and an block of wood to work on.

As for the Dremmel, I use a store brand version and it does me fine.

Wow, that Roadbuster head looks really slick. The fists and rifle look nice too but that head is awesome.

    What software are you using?

In addition to what Cashanova said about pins, if you don't have any old TF pins, you can use 3mm brass rod for pins, or any 3mm metal rod for that matter.

Thanks man. I use Solidworks. I trained as a concept display designer for the tobacco industry, this is my way of earning my soul back.

Thanks for the info. I might pick up some 3mm brass rod for spares.

It seems this is a professional CAD program. All the links, I saw, are asking for a lot of money, unless you are a student (and they probably charge you later).

This isn't something a novice could do as a hobby, is it? looks like your work will be in high demand which should get your soul back, very quick.

    Thanks! I hope so.

Cool. I'm gonna pick some up today.

You could always try a boot leg copy to practice on.

Will this be a complete Roadbuster conversion kit? I missed out on YR's kit so I'm really looking for a RB kit.

Ah....well it's a start. Consider it bought when it goes live. I would have bought the head anyways.
