long time since I posted anything but hey I got my ass in gear long enough to finish this. The concept was simple try to find a way to use huge wheels in a transformer with out just having them hang off the back (note: that clearly did not stop me from putting whats basically 75% of the cab on his back) As for the character well I had Lonely Island's "Like A Boss" on constantly while I was drawing this so make of that what you will. I cant take any real credit for the alt mode its based off the Thunder Truck from the game Fuel for the most part (not a game that I'd recommend but I enjoy it)
well (acording to TFU) theirs not been a Road Boss but yeah I did look to the Micro Masters for ideas about garish in your face colours I guess I got the name from the song "Like A Boss" so tagging road on the front made it work for a TF... on a side note I actually used the name before but I had totally forgot until I tried to save the PSD file...
If that'd work, with the wheels, it'd make for a rather neat transformaion on a toy. Really cool designs as usual.
well the legs fold up in a Z shape with the toes just sliding in, the body is kinda like voyager movie prime with out any of the back pack stuff and finally the arms just tuck in at the sides and the hands just spin a little to move up the spare wheels.
I love the way it all comes together. The head really fits the personality of the design - he is an awesome creation.
Very cool! great job! Kinda a pet pieve of mine when wheels get split apart on transformers (especialy motorcycles) but it does look very cool!
Man, thats a very cool design. I find the transformation unique, and the half tires on the leg is a nice touch. Alt mode choice is great as well, even if you can't take credit for it. Someone needs to make this into a 3d model.
oh yeah the jaw, a green face man how did I not see that? any ways kinda off topic. From time to time people ask me to throw up a tutorial but since I kinda suck at them I was wondering if people would rather have a video? kinda like Bob Ross with giant killer robots Also would people rather I just concentrate on individual areas and giving tips on tricky areas or would people rather I just do some thing start to finish? Keeping in mind I would have a time limit given YouTube's requirements so covering a whole peace in 10 mins would mean cutting out some things people might find interesting
Of course simple for a Cybertron or Classics line, and thats fine. I do like the overall design of Road Boss, so thats all.
