BBTS is selling each for $16.09 and I think it's a good price, however I have heard some bad things about these 2 RMs and I want to know if they are worth that price. Thanks.

Well, I paid $40 for the 2-pack and I think it was well worth it. Seeing as how originals would cost something in the neighborhood of 15x that.

I'd say go for it, at least if you're not likely to get the real thing. They're pretty good figures. Just watched out with the sword, I got the handle stuck in his hand it broke off. Had to drill it out. :redface2:

I've heard there's a metallic version of Star Saber- apparently the one from the 2-pack though.

Yup; the Victory Saber 2 pack is more metallic, like the G1 Convoy one they did. Incidentally, I have the E-Hobby Victory Saber, and the sword isn't such a tight fit in Starsaber's hand; it doesn't jam at all.

The figures themselves are good. I reccomend them. If you have collected the world's smallest Transformers, you'll be happy to note that the jet(Saber is his name, I think) that becomes Star Saber's chest is in scale with them, so in my eyes this IS WST Star Saber. The only real problem is with the aforementioned sword handle. What I do with MY broken handle(because yes, it DID break) is I stick the end piece out of the bottom of his hand, making the handle seem that much longer.

I've been thinking about picking this up too. I've got an original Star Saber but I've never been able to get my hands on a Victory Leo. :(

Yes, at that price it's a good deal..I really like the two pack I got. Neat little guys to fiddle with. I've been careful not to jam the sword too far into his hand, so no breaking problems here.

I have all three versions and they're ok. Metallic SS is my favorite. I just wish they were made of hard plastic and not that bendy PVC-ish stuff.

Come to think of it, I think I may actually like the Mega PVC SS a little better, but of course it doesn't transform!

Ive got all three versions and I definately recommend you pick them up. There pretty close to the originals (except in size of course) from what I understand and are a heck of a lot less expensive.

I would recommend them, too. I have the 2-pack and my Star Saber's handle is perfect.
