That would be awesome, as a musician I really admire that guy. To have him work on Transformers would be great.

I'm still holding out for a Transformers movie scored by Vince Dicola again though, someday...

He did a great job for The Mandalorian.

But I'll miss Jablonsky, he did the best and most Epic Transformers theme.

That would be awesome if he composed ROTB, his scores for Mando are great.
Would be cool if they announced at the panel he will compose ROTB since he is at the panel

To be honest, he's a nice guy (Ludwig), but from what I've heard from his scores, they are basically background noises. No memorable melodies. But I mean that depends on the film as well. TF needs memorable scores and themes, like what Steve did. I hope they use either G1 or BW themes and orchestrate those.

The fact that none of the movies have had any sort of rendition of the classic theme song in the movie itself is such a microcosm for how off-base the films tended to be. It's such a simple and easy inclusion and yet only twice on the soundtrack, never in the movies themselves.

I would love to hear maybe during any action scene or transformation scene with the Maximals you can hear part of the BW’s guitar riff.

Michael said something about having to wait two weeks to show something, could that be some sort of hint about a teaser or reveal for the movie happening in two weeks that has to do with the Machu Picchu scenes?

To call his work background noise is underselling him by an insane amount imo. His work is much more complex than that. I don’t even love the show, but his use of different themes and motifs in Mandalorian alone makes him an excellent choice for ROTB.

Since I know there have been some rumblings, thought I'd mention that I've heard that the movie will stick to its June date for now. Summer 2022 is actually a little more open than fall and holiday 2022, so it's probably a better date. They did toy with moving it to December, and it's still a possibility based on the pace of the Box Office recovery and VFX timeline.

Tbh i prefer Ludwig before Balfe, im not saying he is bad i just think that the work of Ludwig fits better for Transformers and sounds less generic (like Balfe did in Black Widow)

Yeah, he often copy pastes musics and themes. But I actually love his style. He is the new prefered composer of Bay. Loved his AC Revelations Score. Very emotional, which is good.

Also i was thinking , since Ludwig also responded to that post ... could it mean that Ludwig and Lorne are both working together? Idk might be an over exaggeration but what if

What's up with Michael Bay and his talent to select absolutely fitting music to any scene? I felt that scene. You can criticize his movies all you want, but music is definitely the highlight of his content.
