    Honestly if I was Hasbro I would just retool MPM-12. It’s a really good mainstream figure and as I understand it ROTB Optimus looks pretty close to BB Optimus minus a few difference.

    I think we need to see his robot mode first to know if he can be "retooled'' or if he'll need a brand new mold. There were reports that while his robot mode looks like the Bee design he does have a smoother/sleeker and more articulated new model, so even if he transforms the same way, he would likely still need a brand new mold due to all of the required new detailing.

    Kind of like how we had multiple Bumblebee toys that transformed the same way with lots of reused engineering beats but that were new molds anyway.

    It looks good without being obnoxious. Plus it looks like it's there to help bulk up his robot mode via armor. I can totally see this Optimus truck ramming some poor enemy
