I wasn't invited (   ), I know what @Delzord & PrimevsPrime told me. The shoulders are different, he has the chrome visors, more silver on his belly. Silver hands (I'm not sure about that).

The concept art that was shown at the event is actually this design except with the silver elements added. The Image comes from artist Mark Yangs website:

 

Prime with a black midsection would be great, especially if the legs were black as well.

I kinda hope he doesn’t, since Hasbro keeps demonstrating that they can’t be bothered to make the grill real in robot mode, so it feels more realistic to have the grill just go off and hide wherever they usually put it. I can’t wrap my head around the idea of a robot who has two identical pieces of a truck that switch out just so they can look like they are the same piece.

 

All I want is for him to have actual truck parts on his body instead of the "made-up detailing" the Bee movie design had. Grab that body and update it's detailing to feel like it is made out of a real vehicle and it's perfect.

 

It also goes against what Steven's said about how he said he wanted the robots to be able to express themselves and not look blocky like they sometimes do.

 

@Delzord and how much different from this bumblebee

 

He asked me exactly what he meant by "expressing himself."
Bumblebee in his own movie even though his face had less detail than the Bayverse version of him, he could express feelings even better than the Bayverse version.

 

While I'd have preferred they use the original Maximal emblem, I actually like this redesign (provided this is the emblem design that actually appears in the movie).
