Hate to break it to you but I wouldn't care enough to suffer an aneurysm because that comment is so absurd on its face it could only come from someone offended that I talked negatively about their sacred golden turd, I'd laugh if I reacted in any tangible way. Probably not much of a laugh mind you, but a laugh all the same.

I love how some of you translated what I said as 'I wanna see G1 Prime kill Bay Prime' when all I said was 'wail on him'.   If you're gonna get so worked up over a silly comment at least be sure I said what you're claiming I've said.

I’d ditch the Bay torso. I prefer a window in his chest, or at least a solid rectangle (the grill maybe) that’s lighter colored than the red surrounding it. But I’d keep the shoulders having that general shape that goes out and over the cannons, cause otherwise he’d look way too thick in the middle. But I wouldn’t want his shoulders and chest to be formed from that awkwardly angled split truck front like on the bay design. This movie is already getting dangerously close to being a prequel to the Bay movies so I’d keep the connections to a minimum.

Oh yeah, that image is just something I was playing about with, mixing the two designs, but not something I'd seriously expect or want from future movies. There are a quite a few orignal designs out there that do a much better job of referencing classic and movie designs than my basic cut and paste skills like TheAmazingSpino:

 

I don't see Ironhide showing up in the cast of a movie that already features two red robots in Optimus and Arcee (who apparently is replacing her usual pink with red).
Which reminds me, maybe the reason they went with Silver and Blue instead of White and Blue for Mirage is because Wheeljack is going to be the one with a white paint job?

God we need a show or something with his designs.

I'd be 150% on board if they were either used or were the inspiration for new designs for a show or whatever company will make new Transformers movies if Paramount really isn't going to after ROTB.

 

one of the things that bothered me the most about the Bayverse, was that Autobots appeared and disappeared between films, I want this not to happen in ROTB so I hope all the Autobots that appeared in BB (2018) in the film, maybe as a cameo or even a mention explaining where Ratchet, Ironhide and Brawn will be during the ROTB events, and even if that doesn't happen we assume they died, who killed them, or left Earth (as they did), that kind of guesswork shouldn't to have for this new film we must not repeat the mistakes of the Bayverse

I will be pleased if they introduce these Characters in live action!

 

However the movie turns out, it's fun to have the opportunity to follow along with the hype on TFW. I've looked at old threads around the 2007, RotF, and DotM days and always wished to jump in on that train. I can't wait till we get our first looks at characters!

 

Quite disapointing if the Mixer is not Decepticons, what a waste.

 

I hope his design would be like this.

 

I do not want to offend... but I prefer this beautiful but simple face more... this design has a charm
