No the cartoon doesn't all of a sudden "doesn't matter", but it's not the only thing in Transformers that matters, the Marvel comic was also a thing, same with the original bios, so I guess every incarnation of the Dinobots aside from Animated was a massive fuck up, or any Shockwave that was a scientist or double agent, or any Megatron that was a gladiator of some kind, and people are allowed to have their own takes on the franchise.

Like man you so far have been the most pissy person I've seen over several sites just because a character is using an alt-mode that's by the same manufacturer of another characters G1 alt-mode, espesially when you haven't even seen his bot mode at all. IDW Megatron in his stealth bomber body must have been a giant shit storm huh, since Soundwave clearly had it first.

It's a Nightbeat-like car get it right.

I don't think the cement mixer is a Transformer, it doesn't really look customized or "Hollywood" enough. I'm guessing it's just a random vehicle on the street that ends up smashing into a police car (which is a visual trope that gets used in a lot of car chases to stop the people who are pursuing the protagonist).

I'm not surprised the Mirage illusion thing seems to be happening...they had an awful lot of those cars on set, so I think a lot of people saw that coming. I don't mind Mirage being given that ability at all, even though it was originally Hound's thing. The hologram ability never really fit Hound very well (IMO).
