Lol. Wheeljack got screwed. Repaint of a rhinox. Wonder if arcee will get similar treatment, and only prime and primal get unique partners

Looks like a rather simple transformation, though his head should be easily replaced

I do think his head should look better than mainline because it has white highlightz

 

I would love if the Arcee evens up being better tuan the SS one.

 

Looks like I can skip this one since I've got the single pack Rhinox battlemaster

Arcee for the mainline and Scorponok w/Sandspear as a Target exclusive are the 2 I know of

 

I doubt it, as I think only optimus ended up the real win here so far. And it'll essentially have 10 dollar budget plus a battlemaster.

It could be better though, and I guess it depends on what they do.

He's just BBM Bumblebee with glasses and a normal face.

People keep calling him unique but it's one of the most bog-typical TF designs out there. Remove the glasses and he's practically a genericon.

It's exactly why I hate the design. Like I can accept if they decide to change a design, grew up with the bayverse after all, but if the change is to make him a super generic robot that happens to be a nerd stereotype they shouldn't have made the change. The controversial nature of him is the only unique thing about him, because as it stands he is one of the most generic boring designs you can get from a bot.

Minus just loving G1 WJ’s head design, I dislike it also for continuity reasons. Like if Ironhide, Ratchet and Bee looked G1 in ROTF I would have the same problem so it’s not a G1 only thing.

 

I mean, yeah, if you remove the things that make him unique, of course he's gonna look generic. And even then, he's got those seatbelt suspenders going for him.

 

Yeah it’s not even a G1 vs movie problem, it’s a combination of continuity problems as well as just really boring design. Like even between Dotm and AOE where we had massive design shifts, we didn’t see Optimus’ or bee’s head be radically different. They still tried to make them actually look like themselves within their universe.

 

Exactly, or even from AOE to TLK, Hound, Crosshairs and Drift while changes to their designs, they still look like the characters from AOE. Barricade’s head change even bugs me a little, not as much as this but that was something I didn’t love either because it changed so much.

That is true, wouldn’t be exact to scale but if it’s better I’d take it. Not exacting her to be great but hopefully she’s not terrible.

Wish they just did her as a small Deluxe but to late for that.

Unfortunately that's not gonna stop a lot of people.

 

I bet she'll be too big. Every weaponizer fig seems around 5 inches, so arcee will also be 5 inches, and if I recall corrrectly, most modern deluxes fall in to the 4-5 inch range right? Arcee is probably going to be a bit too big.

Unless they choose to shrink her down and make the plastic more dense, which I would think would be a wonderful solution. Hopefully itll be a good toy at least. None of the weaponizer figs seem to be bed toys at least.

They really need to up the paint applications for these movie figures, they look so freaking cheap
