He seems to pretty closely resemble what we saw in the trailer.

 

So... the colors on Rhinox aren't great (but that's to be expected at this point) but that smaller figures design is pretty awesome. D:

I'm sure the Studio Series one will look more bland / colorless.

Some of the animal weapons are kinda neat....

 

Yeah he looks pretty close, not exact but close, even seems to have a green with some gold head.

 

I still think the SS figures are good mostly but this is understandable. I know Rip N' Tear Prime is going to give me way more enjoyment than say, SS Cheetor

 

My guess is these guys are going to be more of a blend between the live action and "evergreen" designs. It'll probably trend close to the OG designs but only because there's fewer alternate versions of the BW cast to base anything on.

Yeah I was not prepared for how much I want these beast dudes.

I'm excited to take SS Cheetor and give him the Tigatron and Cheetor battlemasters.

Yo, I just had a major brainwave, those animals that turn into weapons would make perfect bases for custom Action Master partners!

 

Rhinox actually looks like BW Rhinox. The little bit of his bot mode in the trailer didn’t look too bad either. But it’s nice to see this after designs like Wheeljack or TLK Hot Rod.

That Arcee looks better than the Core Class too. And it’s cool to see a croc.

 

I'm sure they'll be good and they'll fulfill those who want film accurate figures...

But it's the men's time to play now...

 

The Targetmasters are an absolute delight. Going to need all three of those. Maybe two of Rhinox.

 

Now THERE's an idea.

 

Kingdom Rhinox with two Rhinox Battlemasters.

 

Man, this is EXACTLY what I want out of my Transformers: It's like Armada but beautifully designed.

Except for the colors, Rhinox is pretty interesting looking. That Rhinox gatling gun is awesome. I like the idea of him having two little rhinos that turn into guns. The barrels are right between his rhino butcheeks so that implies some funny bullets.

I never thought I'd see Transformers wearing animal pelts... I love it!
