Beast Mode Bee is basically his own thing in the ROTB mainline, he'll be 10 inches tall with lights and sounds

I'm hoping Earthspark figures going up on Pulse means Hasbro is open to that for RotB as well. Wouldn't mind having a chance to preorder through them to get some of this stuff.

 

Yeah, no doubt the mainline team were given a really big budget compared to any other line as they're the ones to promote the film no matter how inaccurate it may be. Yeah Smashdown is good but I think it's just being conservative because G1. You got a sword, a hammer, an axe and 3 shields for melee Battlemasters. As for gun Battlemasters it has to be the Targetmasters and nothing else.

But here? We got bio-organic animals turning into weapons, fuck being conservative that is one of the best ideas ever made ever since Mini-Cons that turns into missile pods and shoulder mounted Gatling guns.

 

I gotta admit, as far as "Gimmick Lines for Kids" go these are pretty dope.

Yep they're definitely taking some big swings. Especially putting little balljoints on some of the beast weapons to give them a little character outside of the gun mode.

 

He's ok in all honesty, I might get him for my younger cousin if I see it.

 

I really like these reveals. While being kid-focused, these look to be a lot of fun for collectors as well; the Battle-masters are a nice touch!

 

So far just those two.

 

As a buddy of mine pointed out: They're calling Bee's beast mode an "eagle" despite it clearly looking like a phoenix. Most likely because calling it a phoenix now would give away the "die and reborn" aspect of his gaining the beast mode.

Right. The "???" are because we don't know Prime's beast mode yet. I'm still leaning towards lion.

 

They look fine until you get to the prices. Fifty dollars for an oversized deluxe-style Bumblebee with gaps and outside clip wheels? Get outta here with that shit.

 

For reference...that's about how much Armada Unicron cost.
