Oh see I am the complete opposite. This design is not to my tastes AT ALL. I much prefer the Bay designs (specifically his TLK design).

 

His TLK design was cool just not a cool transformer design IMO just like how Optimus was cool in TLK just not a cool transformers design. My biggest issue with Bayverse megs was he was essentially a metal spaghetti monster for two movies, his Dark of the Moon design was a big step up. But this BB design is just amazing. Can't wait to see it on screen eventually. That said my favourite Transformers Megs design so far has been both Prime and Animated, I'm not a major G1 fan.

 

What if this is a tease to the soundtrack?

So, I wonder what the next movies in this trilogy will be like. Will they focus primarily on Beast Wars and be a live-action interpretation of the Beast Wars storyline, but include characters like Optimus Prime and the new human characters? Or will this new Megatron be teased at the end of this film and the next film will be a full on Autobot VS Decepticon film? Overall, there are so many different ways they can go about this and I’m interested to see where this goes.

 

I feel like the autobots and decepticons would take center stage in the 2nd film then unicron being the main even in the third bringing back the beast characters and having megatron be converted into galvatron. Mabey

 

So when does ThreeZero start the clock again for the DLX so I can cancel my Megatank Pre-order   ?

So nice to finally see this design officially. Yolopark did said to me in 2019 that they will reveal the design once they get the greenlight as they MIGHT use it in future film(s).

I didn't say it was bad. It's just not what I want from a Megs design. You know I'm over the G1 aesthetics that so many of the shows and the BeeMovie have had recently. Plus I'm like the only TLK fan in existence lol so I gotta rep my boy

I really hope that if this movie is successful, they make a spin-off focused on beast wars, and the sequel to ROTB is focused on autobots vs. decepticons.

Yeah that’s fair lol. I actually loved all of megatron’s designs in the Bayverse! But I think for me personally I just like to see something new, especially in a “rebooted” universe, so that’s why I really love all the G1 designs because it’s almost like a new iteration of the transformers in live action.

With the Bayverse we had realistic alien robotic designs, while in this “new” universe we have G1 inspired modern designs. Both are great imo!
