So question, by the 'leaks from July being mostly true' are we talking about Scourge being a psuedo version of Bay Optimus?

 

I don't think that's true anymore. It might have been true in the early version of the script, but seems like they took that part out based on the test screenings.

 

That was never true, it was just a ridiculous fan theory that festered in people's brains too long.

The whole "Scourge is Bayverse Prime" thing came about because of one TFW2005 user sharing a theory that came from their brother, and someone on 4chan posted the theory, quote-on-quote, and people decided that it was a leaked part of the script, which eventually made it's way back to this website.

 

I don’t disagree. But tbh I don’t care for anything related to Beast Wars, I’m just there for the ‘Bots and any ‘Cons that might show up.

@JonzyYT It's most likely my humble self you're referring to, though I had no intention of starting a false rumor or so-called "leak" when I shared the theory here: Rise of the beasts set photos, leaks, and interviews thread, Post #1147 on August 30th, 2021.

As far as I can tell, it predates @AleximusPrimus sharing any specific information about ROTB, beyond it being neither a prequel or a reboot. If I had to guess, I'd say his source, whoever it was, picked up on it or the 4chan repost (which I had nothing to do with) and ran with it, but I'd be happy for him to refute any of this. For now, though, it seems like it was never part of the movie at all.

Edit: sounds like a cool movie to me. I actually like how the Autobots are 'punching up' so to speak.

 

Really though. The design is well done. Just wish the head for scourge in the film resembled the insignia and not literally.

Okay, someone else explain to me what happened to the rest of the autobots that appear in the post credits in the bee movie, does anyone leak talking about this? I'm hoping the 3 autobots left are jazz, ironhide, and ratchet.
