I'm pretty sure the Reddit leaker also said there's more than three Terrorcons in the film. Maybe he was referring to Freezer and the generic Terrorcon army soldiers.

(I'll be honest tho I would like to see a Terrorcon Cyclonus engage in aerial combat with Airazor.)

Nightbird seems to be the flier of the group.

Same. I was hoping the Terrorcon line up would be Scourge, Battletrap, Nightbird, Cyclonus, and Sideways. Sideways definitely isn’t happening but it would be cool if there was still a chance of a completely CGI aerial Terrorcon appearing in the film.

Look I'm not just going to write the whole movie off but the main reason I like the transformers is the designs and based on what I'm seeing so far this just looks like the bayverse all over again, visually at least. I'm also not one of those people who says G1 is the be all end all I don't care if there's a new design as long as it's not worse then the original. This version of Scourge just looks so generic and bland. Even the RID 2001 version which was pretty much just a black OP recolor still looked way more unique and cool then this metal nightmare. To me at least if you like these designs more power too you but I just can't get behind them especially Scourge and Wheeljack.

That "ugly Wheeljack dating Arcee" complaint is the shallowest possible thing I have ever read on these boards.

Crazy how that relationship was planned even before the the franchise kicked off, when the 86’ movie was being made

On the subject of continuity in just beginning to see both the Bayverse and Knightverse that started with Bumblebee as two different universe yet belong in the same type of continuity family tajt has similar concepts and ideas but otherwise go in different directions similar to how both the G1 Sunbow show and G1 marvel comics are different universe from each other by still technically count as being variants of the same general idea at the time. May not be the best conclusion but all the same it solves a lot of headaches and really if paramount t just went ahead and just say both the bay and rebooted transformers movie are just variants of each other it’ll do a lot to put to bed the whole confusion once and for all

You and I remember that period very differently.

I mainly remember people being absolutely shocked at the realization that, yes, the movies they had so fanatically liked not only could fail, but also had in fact been shit the entire time.

The only people laughing were those who had called the movie being shit before release and had been proven right.

I’m so glad they gave Scourge a better design. Wish the same could be said for Prime.

I can tell that Scourge's final CGI model does actually have his beard that we've heard long ago compared to his concept art.

I hope the body for scourge looks better as well. The promotional model for scourge doesn’t even look like a transformer to me, and I’ve never felt that way for any other design.

It’s a beard but not the one from concept art, descriptions of that say it was a flaming beard.

That's not how I remember it.

Is anyone else getting a bludgeon vibe off of how that kid's book has drawn Scourge? Like, if his inner robot was just "a fire", but still.

Judging from concept art it's not a beard but rather his neck with the front being split open leading to the chest, it's hard to tell but it looks like he still has it in the film just not exaggerated and without the Fire effect.
