This is a thread for discussion on the movie, this discussion does not include unreported aspects on this website - e.g. no leaks, only stuff posted/revealed officially or approved by TFW2005 should be discussed

Without discussion on the upcoming movie, the hype and fanbase on this site would be severely damaged. The 'burn it all' policy from mods has left people with no clear thread to discuss the film, trailer, hype, etc...

I'm not necessarily wanting to be the one to start this thread, but a thread of this nature needs to exist. The widespread locking on every thread discussing this movie is self-destructive for this website and damaging to the core audience on this site wanting to discuss the film.

 

I think the mods want us to discuss topics in individual specific threads instead of in one megathread.

Though, not sure why the leaks thread got closed since we don't have an equivalent spoiler thread just talking about the leaks we've heard.

Anyways, I expect this thread to get shut down too.

 

I wonder how long it’ll take before they close this one too. I’m placing my bet on around an hour from now. 8am for me.

Essentially, discussion will be broken down into the individual threads related to news as it comes out. This is because the 'core audience' that wants to discuss the film keeps breaking down into shit-flinging arguments and attacking people who disagree with them. The mods are ultimately interested in trying to keep the peace and posting on stuff is ultimately a privilege, so the fact they had to resort to banning Discussion threads about ROTB entirely speaks to the volume of the problem that people can't simply play nice specifically over this movie for whatever reason.
